The RotoBowl season is broken up into 3 phases:
1) Draft
2) Regular Season
3) Postseason
PHASE 1 - DRAFT
Each team is randomly assigned a draft position and league two days before your scheduled draft date. (Exception – if you register by August 9th, you will be assigned a draft position and league on August 13th.)
Leagues will consist of 12 teams. Your team will draft and compete against these 12 teams for the regular season.
PHASE 2 - REGULAR SEASON
The regular season runs from week 1 through week 11. To minimize the potential luck factor, each team will play 2 head-to-head games each week. Therefore, throughout the 11 week regular season, you will play each team in your league two times for a total of 22 regular season games.
PHASE 3 - POSTSEASON
League Playoffs - Weeks 12-14
At the conclusion of Week 11, each team will be seeded according to their Regular Season Standings. The top 6 seeds will advance to their League Playoffs, which will determine both Regular Season League Prizes and entry into the RotoBowl Overall Championship Tournament. The League Playoffs will be laid out as follows:
Week 12 (Round 1):
Seeds 1 & 2 receive bye to Round 2 of League Playoffs.
Seed 3 vs Seed 6 - Winner will advance to Round 2; loser is eliminated from League Playoffs and will be placed into Consolation Bowl.
Seed 4 vs Seed 5 - Winners will advance to Round 2; loser is eliminated from League Playoffs and will be placed into Consolation Bowl.
Week 13 (Round 2):
Seed 1 vs Lowest Seed to Advance: Winner will advance to League Championship Game on Week 14; loser will advance to League 3rd Place Game on Week 14
Seed 2 vs Highest Seed to Advance: Winner will advance to League Championship Game on Week 14; loser will advance to League 3rd Place Game on Week 14.
Week 14 (Round 3):
League Championship Game: Winner will win $900 league prize and advance to Championship Tournament; loser will win $300 league prize and also advance to Championship Tournament.
League 3rd Place Game: Winner will win $100 and advance to Championship Tournament; loser will be entered in Consolation Bowl.
*NOTE: Seed 1 at the end of Week 11 of the regular season is automatically qualified for the Championship Tournament.
ROTOBOWL POSTSEASON TOURNAMENT
On Weeks 15-16, the RotoBowl Post-Season Championship Tournament will take place to decide the Overall RotoBowl Champion and the other Overall Winners.
The Championship Tournament will consist of every participant in the League Championship Game (2 per league) in addition to the 3rd place winner from each league, as well as any Regular Season League #1 seeds that did not advance via the League Playoffs.
RotoBowl Post-Season Championship Tournament winners will be determined based on their cumulative fantasy point totals from Weeks 15-16, in addition to their average weekly score from Weeks 1-14.
POSTSEASON - 4TH PLACE LEAGUE CONSOLATION BOWL
The Consolation Bowl will consist of those teams who did not make the RotoBowl Post-Season Championship Tournament.
Each League Consolation winner will win the 4th place League Prize of $100 credit towards RotoBowl '11.

| *Kick/Punt Return Touchdowns are scored to special teams only. | |
Note 1: In plays that contain more than one turnover, fumble recovery points will be awarded to the recovery team's defense and special teams. For example, Team X's offense fumbles and Team Y's defense recovers, but then fumbles the ball back to team X's offense. In that scenario, team X's defense and special teams (as well as team Y's defense and special teams) are both awarded a fumble recovery.
Note 2: Touchdowns scored on fake field goals or fake punts do not count as Defense/Special Teams scoring. Touchdowns scored by the offensive team after a blocked punt or blocked field goal do not count as a Defense/Special teams score.
Note 3: Points allowed includes all points scored by the opposing team, regardless if the opposing team scores on offense, defense or special teams.
Note 4: In the unlikelihood of a scoring occurrence that is not covered in the RotoBowl rules, we will defer to the official game scoring.
Note 5: Special teams touchdowns will be credited only to a Team Defense, and not an individual player.
Note 6: In the case of an official change in statistics to the official stat feed, RotoBowl reserves the right to recalculate the scores from the previous week for any scoring discrepancy reported by 11:59pm EST on Friday of the following week. In these cases, RotoBowl will promptly recalculate scores and standings and update the commissioner service pages accordingly. All standings and scores will become official each Saturday at 12:00am EST.
